Our Story
Finnska's story began when a Finnish-Canadian carpenter started installing windows as his full time job, first in Canada and later in Finland. After years of experience with window installation, he acknowledged that Finnish windows are among the best, strongest and most energy-efficient in the world.

He wanted to explore the possibility of importing these high quality windows and doors to his home region in Canada and other parts of North America.
​
The carpenter partnered with a friend from Finland who has profound knowledge and experience in the Finnish forest industry and another trusted Canadian company with extensive experience in the logistics, sales, and installations of Canadian construction materials.
Soon after, Finnska started cooperation with Pihla Group to export windows and doors to Canada and North America. Pihla Group is representing the Finnish companies of the Inwido Group, Europe's largest window and door manufacturer.
